Hmm.. conveniently no talk about Fox broadcasting in 480p and really giving consumers junk.. oh wait.. fox has been doing that with their shows for years.. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,59164,00.html

Haven't been around long enough to know.  Was the Super Bowl in HD?  What about these upcoming NFL games?

Fox is playing the lawyer with its press release. The Superbowl was in "Fox Widescreen" which is nothing more than 480p widescreen, only slightly better than 480i. And at the time they only covered 30% of the country with DTV. I suppose widescreen football at standard resolution is at least something, but notice they don't say high definition.

They actually don't even say the NFL game will be in widescreen. They just say digital.
