Hmm. That's odd.

DirecTV channel numbering starts with 100, except for the Sat C channel 90 test card.

Do you have 3 LNB's ? I'll check my systems when I get home tonite.

Just popped in to my head, could that be a local-into-local feed of Telemundo 63, on 1-3 OTA ??

No actually the channel number starts at 1 on the double and triple LNB HD units..  The locals are on their real channels...chan 4 is 4, 58 is 58 ect..   I just noticed that showed up just recently. It isn't the programming from channel 63 so maybe it's a feed from Univision or something like that.  Couldn't get the channel info to display on my receiver for that channel...Just ML60 is all the information.

Wrong ... that's a *remapping*.

Look at Lyngsat's DirecTV 101 page . You'll see that the Milwaukee locals are actually on as follows:

944 (4), 945 (6), 946 (10), 947 (12), 948 (18), 949 (24), 950 (30), 951 (36), 952 (58), 953 (55).

We have no OTA 60 here. I'll have my sister check her system tonite. She gets the locals package.

Probably remapping (actually just about everything is probably remapped, they can do whatever they want with channel assignments....not like the big dish where you pick your bird and transponder) but anyways...everyone gets the locals for the past couple months...they are giving it to everyone for 90 days...trying to get people hooked so they pay the extra 5 bucks a month.

Here you go:

ML60, Telefutura TV from WXFT-TV, 60, Chicago, IL.

Seems odd that DTV would carry an "out-of-market" station on there precious bandwidth...

Thanks all, mystery solved, kinda.
