I'm currently using Direct TV to recieve my 3 HDTV channels but... I want MORE!! I see that TWC can give me locals for ~$20/mo so before I go back to the evil cable company I was wondering if you gurus out there have any recommendations for attic antennaes for the Muskego area.  I'd rather not put one on the roof so attic antennaes and any installation company recommendations would greatly be appreciated.
My location is off of Woods Rd. across the street from Muskego Park.
Thanks
PS.  I tried the radio shack "bow tie oven rack" indoors and had NO luck with reception.

Sure.  I have a small Radio Shack in my attic now, it's a VU-75, but positioning within my trusses is tricky.  If you have rafters & joists, you may have good luck with unit like that.  Likewise, there are UHF models often referred to as "bow ties" that are more compact (I actually have a ChannelMaster 4228 on the roof) which is about 3' square and 6" thick.  Winegard makes a similar design that's foldable if you have a small access hole to the attic.

ChannelMaster also makes a 4 bow model, which is about 18" wide, 3' tall, and 6" thick (half the 4228 actually).

Cost of these options is between $25 and $50.  If you're lucky, maybe one of the RS bow ties would work, many people here have them and use them successfully.  Depending on the characteristics of your site, this might work.

Without getting too specific, if you would include your general vicinity (ie. HWY 24 & Y) in Muskego, there are others here that can share their successes/failures in your neck of the woods.
