I guy I work with lives in Greenfield and can only receive the CBS digital feed.  He has tried the Radio Shack double bowtie antenna among other things.  I'm curious what the results are of others in Greenfield.  I'm surprised that he is having problems.

Interesting indeed!  Whereabouts in Greenfield (ie. HWY 100 & Beloit rd)?

I'd have to believe that 33 (WISN-12) and 28 (WTMJ-4) would be equally receivable.  Leads me to think it's more of an antenna placement of aiming issue more than anything.

It would be helpful to have some additional info, send him over here!

I'm in Greenfield. Damn near Franklin at about 27th & College. I get ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS with no problems. I do get ocasional dropouts on CBS, but it's usually not too bad. Comes and goes with the weather. I'm using a smaller RS UHF antenna that is mounted in my garage rafters.

I first used the bow tie in my rafters and had limited success. I got all the stations, but had a lot more drop outs.

He lives on 122nd and Beloit and is using a Radio Shack double bowtie antenna inside the house.  I would think he is close enough to the city where a larger antenna wouldn't be necessary.  His receiver is the Hughes E86 Directv receiver.
