I was just wondering what everybody's thoughts were on the Toshiba 57H82.  I have been doing some reseach and I really have heard some good things about this set so far, but I have just found this awesome site and wanted all your opinions!  I know the 57HDX82 would be better, but I only can afford the 57H82.  I have found it at onecall.com for $1979 shipping included with no interest until 2004 (by the way, anybody have any opinions about onecall.com?)   I have seen this set in person at Sears and Best buy and I am really impressed with it.  One question that I have is does this set support all the HDTV formats (480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i )?  I have not been able to figure this out yet.  If anybody out there has this set already, please let me know what you think.  Thanks a bunch guys.  :)

Onecall.com has a pretty decent reputation, I have heard good things about buying from there.
Also if you go to this link,Deal Page On Home Theater Forum   scroll down a little and click through using this Deal Page, you can get that same TV from OneCall.com for $1869.44 including free shipping. At that price it is almost too much of a deal to pass up!!

Also FYI...this should probably be in the HDTV Equipment Forum...

I have purchased several items from onecall over the past many years including receivers, a digital camera, and several sets of car stereo speakers.  I don't know that I'd do a big screen-- not because of them, but there is value in having a local dealer should there be a problem.

Without getting into too much detail, I bought an item that the local dealers just didn't have yet (new model), and the price was the same as locals were selling the old model (less features).  Warranty service was needed, and I was kinda given the cold shoulder here-- as I didn't buy it locally.  Anyway, the mfr. rep and I had a few chats, I got it repaired, and it's been fine ever since.

Several local retailers offer similar financing arrangements, so my advice would be to look at those options as well before you decide what to do.

Good Luck!
