Attenuators

I'm looking for a source, local if possible, for a 1000 mHz, 3dB coaxial attenuator and the necessary connectors to connect in series to my red component video cable and RPTV. Radio Shack didn't have the specific attenuator I'm looking for. This is to help correct the red push on my WS Hitachi RPTV.
 Also, does anyone know if the local movie rental places rent out Avia DVD calibration sets?

I don't have the "specs" available, but I do have one red-push attenuator exactly as you describe.  You could try it and see.  If you were to keep it, I would expect a $20 donation to this site.
