Sorry about the spacing guys.  I'm just an HTML hack that doesn't have a clue.  Tom, feel free to edit if you can.

Top 10? Top 20? Not even.... Here are the raw market sizes...

3 Chicago
33 Milwaukee
69 Green Bay-Appleton
85 Madison
127 La Crosse-Eau Claire
132 Rockford
135 Duluth-Superior

I doubt that there are many larger markets with fewer Digital stations, and several with slightly smaller populations have 3 or 4 more HD stations than we do, and undoubtedly leapfrog over us in the rankings (Greenville, Memphis, Norfolk, Greensboro and Salt Lake City to name a few...)

BTW Milwaukee was market #31 when the FCC issued their HDTV mandate for the Top 30 stations to be on the air by the first cut off date. I was disspointed at the time, but had I realized that some stations here were not going to even comply with the later date, I'd have been even more so!

I've posted the entire list of Raw market sizes at our links page...

P.S.John: I tried to edit the table above, and tables just don't behave very well in the BBS.
