I live in the Town of Delafield on top of a hill with clear sight east & have a Hitachi 43-UWX10B HDTV ready television.  I run this through a Pioneer VSX-D906S receiver while using a JVC HR-S3800 VCR  as the tuner.  This is all input to the S-video input #1 on the back of the tv.  I have two dish network 4000 series sat. receivers split into modulatos so that they appear on channels 14 & 42 respectively.  The reason for this is so that with the RF remotes that came with these dish receivers, I can go to any TV in any room in the house and watch dish network.  This past week I decided that I wanted to watch the SUPERBOWL in Hi-Def.  I bought a Hughes E-86 HD sat. receiver.  I hooked the video up via the component outputs directly to input 5 on my television, and the audio to my VCR2 input on my receiver.

The problems I now have are:
1) Prior to buying the Hughes box, my Pioneer remote would turn everything on and off with the push of 1 or 2 buttons...simple and only one remote needed...Wife requires this!  Now I have to use the receiver remote to turn on the tv, vcr & receiver, the Hughes remote to use that device, and the TV remote to switch between the inputs on the back of the TV.

2) The channels 10 (5 of them?) don't come in without breaking up/stalling/stuttering.  It also happens to channel 12 off & on.

I'm wondering if there is anyone out there that any of you could recommend to me to come out and fine tune my setup.  Since I have not purchased all of my equipment from one source, none of the stores are eager to spend much time with me without wanting me to upgrade something (don't really blame them).  At some point in the near future I will probably switch from dish-network to Directv (thats why I bought the Hughes E86 rather than a "HDTV only" set top box).  I'm not asking for a freebee here, just want some help from someone who knows what the heck they are doing.  This trial & error stuff is getting a bit tiresome.

Also have a Pioneer DVL-919 LD/DVD.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You know it's hard to recommend someone....you feel liable if the person you referred didn't do the job you expected.  I would say check with a good Audio/Video store and ask them who they use as an antenna system installer.  (I'm pretty sure I know who they'll recommend, but better them than me).  It might be a subject the board will think about in the future...such as having technical seminars.  I'll talk with the board about this and maybe we can create some seminars in conjunction with some dealers and service establishments.  Let them tout their services and products and have them cover the costs of the Meeting Room and Refreshements.....

What say.....dealers/servicers....I know we have a number of high end sales persons and at least one antenna systems installer on this forum.  Here's you chance to make yourself know for a small amount of money to put on a seminar or dog&pony show.  E-mail me privately and the I will take this to the board.
