The picture and the sound....incredible (although I think CBS had better picture quality). My house full 'o' people was completely amazed and watched from the first minute till the last and then some.
All I heard from everyone was " WOW. INCREDIBLE. I HAVE TO GET ME ONE OF THESE"
I'd say it was a rousing success!!

Was it just me, I recall seeing an on-field camera in the 1st quarter that was 16:9.  As were the first few replays.  After that, some of the replays were SD, and some of the on-field shots were SD as well.

Overall, I'd say that the picture quality was equal to CBS's best AFC games, and the 5.1 effect was a nice improvement.

In the end, I spent more time watching games and entertaining for content I may have passed on in normal years.

Overall, nicely done.  Not perfect, but this is an experiment-- a science experiment
