WITI Fox 6 Reception Problem

I live in Cedarburg. I am now able to receive all digital stations except FOX 6 (WITI).  I have a new RS roof antenna way up high on a 15 foot mast on top of my two-story home. Connected to the antenna are two coax lines using the dual UHF/VHF splitter arrangement with a 6-db attenuator on the VHF line to tone down channel 4 (NBC). (Thank you Mr. CBS for the earlier technical post addressing this issue!!) What is the last piece of the puzzle I need in order to receive FOX? Thanks

well to start with, that 6dB attenuator probably isn't doing you any favors on Fox's weak signal. Also, I can't place where Cedarburg is exactly, but realize that Fox's antenna is a good 6+ miles away from all of the other antennas. With the antenna on the roof you may need to add a rotor depending on your orientation to the antennas to point it to Fox separately.

You are not going  to receive channel 33 in Cedarburg.  They are transmitting from their studios at low power low height.  I live right by Cedarburg High School, have a 50 foot tower, with a high gain antenna and preamp and I can't receive them...so wait until they go to their big tower...cuz it ain't happening.

Cedarburg is just north of Mequon, which is just north, northwest of Milwaukee's main antenna field. I am about 8 to 9 miles away from the field. Without the 6-db attenuator, I can only receive channel 4 and the PBS stations. Where exactly is the FOX 6 antenna in relation to downtown Milwaukee? Thanks for your earlier reply.

Thanks a lot Gregg -- I'll sit tight.

I think the studio transmitter is at Brown Deer Rd and Hwy 57.
