Have we given up on Sinclair?

I am just wondering. I see the talk about the antennas going up, but aside from that we know nothing and MisterDTV has stopped posting in the forums now. Should we just forget about 18 and 24 and then one day pleasantly be surprised with a signal on 25 and 61? I was hoping to catch this season of Smallville in HD, but now it's looking like I Will be lucky if I can even catch it in reruns.. :mad:

They had no intention of broadcasting HD. Their "plan,"  if they have one, is low power upconverts to satisfy the FCC.

Actually, theres a good thread at AVS.

Apparently, Sinclair can't afford DTV because they just spent $20 Million this December on the CEO's Auto Dealership.
