OTA 12-1 (34-1)....because the local's on satellite aren't HD....And I like MCQ am recording the SB......he's right about 30 to 40Gig for the entire show.

I sure hope the fix the audio.......the echo is annoying.....rear channels are ahead of the center channel by a 1/2 second.

I've got the echo here too. The best part so far is that the lone audio drop out has occured during Celine Dion.

Don't forget to keep the "switch" flipped for Alias afterwards. We need to see if it's going to be red or black. :cool:

I've got 70 GB freed up for today just in case it goes to quadruple OT + Alias. That's almost 9 hours of free space.

Listen closer.....there is a definite delay between channels...it's like being at the stadium and hearing the echo from the speakers on the other side...only exagerated....
shutting down all un=necessary functions and going to record mode.......later.

The audio's working much better now. It's really only happening when the audio is being broadcast over the PA system at the same time. PQ on TWC is great!!

Glitch 1: I thought I eliminated most of my overscan, but that top right scoreboard is slightly off the screen to the top.

Major Improvement: Zero pixelation and zero pixelation on the logo transitions either!!

yeah I think that's what is was....now with the game started the audio in the rear is just crowd noise..much better.  Just sampled part of the recording I'm doing during the ads and it's perfect....so far only saw a couple artifacts....but that could be just the portable cameras (wireless).  The 720p is doing real good with the motion.

Okay it had to be ABC freezing up just before the TB Touchdown.....because I just checked my recording on the computer and it  was froze there for over 1 minute also....same as I got on my RCA......figures if they are going to have a lockup...it would happen during a touchdown play.....:bang:

It was WISN not ABC. I asked this on AVS and found we're the only ones that had this major glitch. I also saw a hiccup right before the daredevil.

1st and halftime recorded okay. I just know Alias is going to fail though it seems I haven't had an unplayable file since turning off the commercial detection on Hipix.

Either TWC was terrible or something is wrong with my setup.  The HD part of the telecast was pretty good with few artifacts or pixels.  However, on numerous occasions during SD replays and going into and out of HD broadcasts, several of the replays and videos were blurry to unwatchable.  The fact that only a couple of commercials were in HD made the broadcast disappointing.  Several members of my family, while impressed with the HD picture during the game wondered if it were worth it with the problems.  One family member commented that there was still alot of work to do on the technology.  This broadcast left me with much the same feeling.

Hmm.. I don't know what major problems you guys are talking about? It may have just been TWC.. Seriously. While some replays were meh, none were unwatchable. By way of comparison I had Tivo'ed the game (for the ad replays) and would show my friends A/B comparisons and lo and behold, the pic on Tivo version was identical to the SD replay on HD. This was OTA, not TWC.
