Shrek on HBO-HD.....WOW!!!!!!!!!!

Did anyone catch HBO-HD's Shrek on Saturday night? I couldn't believe how incredibly detailed and colorful it is in HD. I must have seen the DVD about 100 times now (I have an 8 year old and a 6 year old) and it was like seeing it for the first time. Truely reference material, better than even video sports footage. As mentioned in an earlier post, it is due to the all digital filming (or lack of film) and transfer of the film. It is playing again Tuesday at 7 pm I think, and a few more times after that. Anyone that has a HD set-up, or wants to impress the hell out of friends....check this out. Words cannot describe!

Aslo wanted to poke a little fun at our friends at the FAUX 6 news studio....Look closely at the 50" plasma display used for showing sports footage. It has the FOX 6 logo that probably shows on that thing non-stop, totally "burned" in. They were showing footage of this past week-ends golf tournament, and they had a shot of the blue sky on the plasma...and there I could see it plain as day...a huge FOX 6 logo right in the middle of it. I actually laughed out loud when I saw it. If anyone watches FOX 6 news, watch closely when they are doing sports at the plasma...it's hard to miss when there is a solid color on it! You'll get a kick out of it.
