This is excellent even though Milwaukee was too "bush" league to keep the Mustangs. I guess a city of only about 600,000 (although metro-Milwaukee is about 1,000,000) can only have SO many professional sports teams. Great news none the less. I wonder why Cuban doesn't go after some NFL action? I bet the NFL would willing to work out a deal. Teams like the Bengals and Cardinals, with their less than attractive drawing power, would be an excellent choice to show on HDNEt.

Nice thought, but it will never happen.  The contracts that the NFL has with networks for the next couple of years is cost prohibitive to alter, even for the good Mr. Cuban (see the attempt to change times/schedules for MNF).  The 800 lb gorilla that is the NFL does not want to upset its networks.  Maybe after the Cardinals move to LA... Higher hopes for CBS simalcasting NFL in the fall...

Haven't heard, but it doesn't really matter for the Milwaukee Area for another 1.5 years.
